TASK Hi, so I need us to develop something. From your understanding of this whole project so far. The Vacant possession comitte (VPC) committee badly needs me to develop some sort of visualized process flow to enhance communication and transparency and also get project buy and help with vacant possession – we want to have it hanging in the office. So basically, a high-level pictorial one can look at that summarizes the story and they really see what we are doing is right. From saying the church owns the land and houses thereon, to giving 49 year formal leases in the 1970s to the respective leases, the leases have been run down and all expired between 2021/2022, the church allowed a sort of 5 or so year grace period as it was planning and has now communicated definitive notices to vacate the premises by end of April 2026 as the church wants to redevelop its land into a urban renewal modern day mixed complex. Notices to vacate have been lawfully distributed to occupants accordingly. A dedicated committee handling the process was carefully put together. An office has been established at the Caritas building close to the housing estate to handle all clarifications and concerns form the tenants; the office is open on Monday to Saturday. The committee also plans to have a series of twin hall engagements to meet all occupants, leaders and PAPs to engage and educate accordingly so as to make all key details are put across effectively. Also, all those occupants who have an interest in the upcoming project are free to register their interest and will definitely be given due consideration for the newly bult project.
