Title: My Uni Lebanon – Academic Social Network Description: Build a social networking web platform that connects all university students in Lebanon. The platform should allow students to register, choose their university, faculty, and major, and then automatically join communities based on these selections. Each student also has a personal profile where they can share academic and social updates. ⸻ User Registration Flow • Sign up with email + password (or Google/Facebook). • After signup: Choose university (from predefined list of all universities in Lebanon). Choose faculty (Engineering, Medicine, Sciences, Business, etc.). Choose major (e.g., Computer Engineering). • After this, the student is automatically added to 3 levels of communities: • University community. • Faculty community. • Major community. ⸻ Core Platform Sections Communities • Forums/rooms for each university. • Sub-communities for each faculty. • Smaller groups for each major. • Features: post questions, discussions, file sharing, resources, comments, likes. Events & Announcements • Each university has an announcements page. • Universities or admins can post official news: exams, deadlines, activities, events. Resources • Students can upload and share: • Study notes. • PDF files. • Past exams. • Projects. ⸻ Student Profile Page Basic Information • Name, photo, university, faculty, major, year of study. Academic Path • Degrees, courses, certifications. • Current level (Undergraduate, Master, PhD). Timeline / Daily Posts • Students post updates, images, questions, academic reflections. • Other students can like/comment. Portfolio • Showcase projects, research papers, or short CV.
